Data Pipelines
Data pipelines — build it, harden it, ship it
Ingestion — normalization — storage — outputs, with reliability built in.
Prepaid blocks. USD pricing. Bank transfer or USDC (Ethereum/Arbitrum). 30-day rollover.
Engagement
- Scheduled blocks: $180/hour
- Initial block: 10 hours prepaid ($1,800)
- Urgent tiers: 1.5× / 2.0× / 2.5×
- Urgent minimum: 5 hours prepaid
What you get
- Source ingestion (API/scrape/files) + normalization
- Storage (Postgres/SQLite/S3) + exports (CSV/JSON) or API
- Retries, dedupe, idempotency basics (as scoped)
- Runbook: run, recover, monitor
How we run
- Kickoff confirmation (scope + access + first tasks)
- Daily updates (or every 4 hours worked)
- 80% checkpoint before consuming the full block
Typical requests
- API/scrape ingestion + incremental sync
- Data cleanup: normalization, dedupe, backfills
- Exports: CSV/JSON, db views, or a small internal API
- Operational hardening: retries, alerting, runbooks
Trust & working style
- NDA-friendly. Happy to work in private repos and on internal systems.
- Pragmatic reliability: idempotency, backfills, and clear failure modes.
- Written updates with artifacts (PR links, sample outputs, runbooks).
- UAE-based, UTC+4 (overlap with EU afternoons / US mornings).
Start
- Send a short problem description (2–5 sentences) + sample data or links.
- I’ll confirm scope for the first block + timeline + payment details.
- Work starts after payment clears / confirms on-chain.
FAQ
What stacks do you work with?
Commonly: Python/Node, Postgres, S3, Docker, cron/queues, and cloud basics. If you have a specific stack, include it in the first email and I’ll confirm fit.
Can you improve an existing pipeline without rewriting it?
Yes. Typical quick wins: better retries, dedupe keys, incremental sync, and a minimal runbook so ops is predictable.
Do you do scraping?
Yes (where permitted). If scraping is involved, include target URLs, expected volumes, and any constraints (rate limits, proxies, legal/compliance requirements).
How do payments work?
Prepaid blocks in USD. Bank transfer or USDC (Ethereum/Arbitrum). Hours roll over for 30 days.
